Better Sex at the age of 70

There has been increase in the numbers of sexually active 70-year-olds men and women. It clearly shows that age is not bar to have a good sex. The study shows that the old age women are experiencing greater satisfaction during the sex. Most of the women have been reported to reach their orgasm and very few of them reported to not having the one.
Men and women in their 70s are less aware of what is called a “normal sexual behavior”.

Nils and colleagues of the University of Gothenburg in Sweden have studied four representative samples of 70 years old about their orientation towards the sex. These studies were performed on the basis of the interview been taken over 30-year period. More than 1500 people have been interviewed. During the interview they have been asked various questions related to their sex lives with respect to the sexual dysfunctions, marital satisfaction and the sexual activity.

And the researchers have found out that within these 30 year period, the sexual activities among the 70-year-olds men and women has increased.

The data which were collected for the studies included both married and unmarried men and women. The result shows a rise from 52 percent to 98 percent among the married men, 38 percent to 56 per cent among the married women. And in the unmarried men study shows rise from 30 percent to 54 percent and 0.8 percent to 12 percent in case of unmarried women.

They also noticed that the percentage of the men having erectile dysfunction has been decreased. But the men having ejaculation dysfunction has increased during this span. However, the report of the premature ejaculation among the men remains same.

Most interesting point is that if the sexual intercourse stops both men and women blame men for this.

The researchers come to the conclusion from their findings that most of the elderly people consider sexual activity and associated feelings a natural part of the later life.
