Science of Love

Love and its mystic beauty was always the favorite subject since centuries for the poets, lyricists, play writers and novelists to express their creativity. These were the set of people that wrote on the emotions and human understandings of love, its intricacies and what it does to a person who is in love specifically. The intellectual thinkers of our society dominated the meaning and expression of love through their eyes and often Romanized love relationships in myriad colors and fragrance. These classes of people believed and through their work made others believe and feel that romance is a beautiful experience that is inexplicable as the beauty of a moonlit night on a seaside or the beauty of a rainbow on a clear sky after a downpour. But these days this notion of poetic beauty of love is challenged by the scientists.

They seem to have rather a lot to say on peoples feeling of Love for each other. According to various scientists, researchers and anthropologists there is some irresistible cocktails of chemicals that occur within our brains that provoke us to fall in love. It is not the poetic love at first sight, but it is scientists’ study revealing that a person takes about 90 seconds to approximately 4 minutes to decide if one is fancied about someone. People is not fancied at the first instance by what they say, instead it is the body language that attracts the opposite partner.

Love is like a magnet that attracts happiness, it’s a feeling that beckons you, makes your heart grow fonder and you enjoy the magic of living with your partner. Love wins one and all. It transcends across geographical boundaries. When your heart goes racing, and your hands are clammy, then you are in love. These are some of the outer signs if one falls in love. But there are great chemical changes that take place when the neurons of the brain cells receive signals that you are in love. Falling in Love involves three stages. Initially it is the LUST that attracts individuals; then comes the stage of romance or ATTRACTION, and finally it is the unconditional bond and ATTACHMENT that produces the ultimate vibes for living and loving. Love and Infatuation

It is difficult to chain down feelings in words. Words have limited alphabets to express its meaning, whereas feelings and emotions fly in the sky, dances with the rain, murmurs with the wind and flows with the river. How can one bind the sky, rain, wind and river within the twenty- six English alphabets? Feelings like love and infatuation is hard to describe in words. These are like feelings that act as instant triggers and give the instant thrill but often fade away over time. They either makes you feel happy or make you feel sad. It is dependent on different circumstances. It is the situation, the ambience around, the people and their words and action that make you react to be just happy, overwhelmed with happiness or depressed or annoyed. So to understand what is love and what is infatuation, one need to listen to one’s conscience. One needs to feel the exhilaration of ultimate passion of one’s existence.

Infatuation – The Instant Desire

“The heart has its reason which reason does not understand”-is a very true statement when one finds oneself more attracted towards the call of one’s heart. If a person gets attracted towards another individual at an instance, we term the feeling as infatuation.
