Establishing Balance between Parenting and a Happy Marriage Life

Do you feel your married life has affected after the addition in your family?

Arrival of  baby in the family changes the roles and responsibilities of both husband and wife. Both husband and wife focus more on the new born so they get less time together. As a result they start losing interests in each other. Maintaining the same intimacy and relationship with your partner is as important as raising children. You should not neglect caring for yourself, spouse and children. It is important to bring flexibility in your life.

Spending quality time together: 

Raising children requires lots of patience. It is a full time job for the parents and especially mother. Women should think about the qualities to maintain a happy marriage life at the same time balancing motherhood. After the addition of children in a family the initial loss of intimacy is obvious. In the midst of your busy schedule take your time out to spend some quality time with your partner. Couples should make sure that they set time aside for talking and listening. This is important to maintain the understanding of the partner’s intrapersonal lives. After your children go to sleep spend some time talking with your spouse about anything that will make each other happy. This will let you to fall in love with each other again.

Compliments:

Giving compliments to each other is no big deal. The only thing is that you have to make a habit of it and it will work like a magic potion. Give compliments for the smallest thing like “Honey, dinner was great, you made my favorite dish.” This remark will work like a magic and it will make her feel more loving. Today’s parents are poor role models for kids

 

Parents are generally considered as a fist teacher and role models for a child. But, a study has shown a hard and bitter fact of today’s parents – “you’re responsible for your kids’ lack of basic moral values”.

Recently in Britain, based on research and study, a very sad fact has been highlighted that children are not attaining basic moral values nowadays because today’s parents are poor role models for their children.

This fact has been carried out when researchers questioned 1.176 people and as a result they found that two thirds of the adults believe that the moral value of young people have declined significantly since the time when they were young. Celebrity cultures, lack of moral awareness, living in nuclear families are among the major reasons being discouragement traditional moral values among young generation.
