Making a decision about marriage and divorce
Marriage is one of the most beautiful bond between a man and woman, if couples are sincere for each other then there is no doubt for having a healthy relationship which can last for long, until their life journey ends.
Marriage needs sincerity, dedication, respect, trust, understanding, cooperation and last but not the least love. But when married couples start loosing confidence and trust in their partner it ends with a painful reality, “divorce” which ends the prevailing relationship and love between them. Coping with divorce is not easier for both man and woman. It is easier to break a relationship rather to live it. And this divorce becomes most hard-hitting when it comes to child custody, as child is important for both. Making a decision about marriage can be easy but decision about divorce is not trouble-free. It is fact that one in three marriages now end in divorce in England and 50% in USA.
A divorce must be certified by a court, as a legal action is required to dissolve a marriage. We are discussing some of the issues that can rise during the decision making process for a divorce.
- Expenses of separation:
When one partner decide about divorce he or she should be prepare for whole expenses and bills. So before taking step the person should make sure he/ she can afford it or not.
- Emotional explosion:
The divorce procedure can be lengthy and complicated. It may lead to violence or emotional outbursts during the process. The person should control his/her emotions which can help to end the process peacefully, smooth and fast.
- Physical detachment:
There are different reasons of divorce in different couples but the common thing is the great deal of physical detachment to their kids. Domestic violence can be a great factor of family brakeage. It is very important issue in divorce cases.
- Child custody:
It is very sensitive issue. Mostly mother takes the child custody, but if the court sees that the mother is unable of taking care of the children, the father also can take custody of children.
- Parental responsibility:
If couples have kid then divorce does not mean freedom of all responsibilities. Parents still have to finance the expenses of their children (as ordered by the court) until they are grown up.
- Property division:
It is a technical issue and lies on the technical rules of property division. If there are some problems about particular property, it should be decided according to evidences and the court may act as the liaison.
- Time and Procedure:
Divorce procedure may take several months. The person cannot expect to receive his/her divorce decree with in a day after file the case. There can be some disputes regarding child custody and marital assets and debts that become the reason of delay.
- Divorce process fee:
The fees of legal representative and documents rates are the factors that influence the cost of divorce. It is difficult to estimate the cost in advance. So before case the file the person should prepare himself to pay a great amount.
